The National Writing Project is a national treasure. It has supported and inspired
hundreds of thousand of teachers in the United States, and is one of the reasons
that the country's writing skills will stand up to those of any nation in the world.
It is, moreover, extremely cost-effective in terms of numbers of teachers reached
and the depth and breadth of connection.
The National Writing Project has received federal funding since 1991. Please support
continued funding for this powerful, useful organization.
